Freshman Four Year Plan On-line Presentation
Students and parents may view Mr. Wessling's on-line Elluminate presentation of the Four Year Plan, along with supplementary
materials. Included in the "Main Forms" downloadable document is the page that should be filled out with the student's
customized plan and returned to the freshman counselor for review.

Overview
Valley Christian High School prepares students for admission into
college and for achievement and success in that rigorous environment.
In addition, the program is designed to develop an awareness of
their potential. Commitment to community service and individual
responsibility are also strongly emphasized. An in-depth, enriched
curriculum, close faculty-student relations, diverse activities,
and a variety of special programs and traditions support these
goals.
Valley Christian High School offers a comprehensive program incorporated
into a traditional college-preparatory curriculum. Minimum graduation
requirements (240 credits) are Bible, 40 credits; English, 40
credits; Fine Art, 10 credits; Math, 30 credits; Physical Education/Health,
20 credits; Science, 20 credits; Social Studies, 40 credits; Technology,
20 credits; and Electives, 20 credits. The normal course load
is seven courses per semester. VCHS offers 14 Advanced Placement
and 12 Honors courses in English, Math, Science, Social Studies,
Foreign Language, Fine Art and Computer Science. We offer a broad
range of electives in multiple disciplines, including Radio Broadcasting,
Television Production, Graphic Design, Photography, Journalism,
Life Skills, Jazz Music, Dance, Stagecraft and Strength and Conditioning,
in addition to our large core of courses. Please refer to the
2004-2005 Course Catalog for a full listing of available courses.
A student may also enroll in courses at neighboring colleges or
universities for credit, with approval of the school counselor.
