By analyzing various genres of literature from a Christian perspective, students develop the ability to express emerging beliefs, convictions and values through written and verbal communication.

Each year students enter their best writing in university- and community-sponsored contests and win numerous awards. Grade-level writing competition allows high school students to impart their enthusiasm for writing to younger students. All students also submit creative writing for possible inclusion in The Scribe, an annual publication produced by senior honor students. For students wanting to hone their writing skills, a writing center is available after school.
