Visual Arts
Students analyze and evaluate the cultural and moral values expressed
in art and use pencil, ink, pastel, watercolor, acrylics, collage
and digital design to produce dynamic works that visually communicate
God's creativity and truth.
Students develop award-winning skills in the
visual arts through involvement in school, church, theatre and
community projects that include poster creation, set design and
mural painting. Each spring, the best works from advanced art and
photography students are showcased in a public exhibit. A multimedia
computer lab, reserved for art students, provides resources for
those interested in becoming proficient in graphic design.
