TV & Radio/ Communications
Communications students learn to express their ideas, emotions
and Christian faith through print and broadcast media. Our progressive
program presents film, television and video, radio, newspaper
and yearbook production as avenues that can be used to communicate
God’s truth.
Advanced technology and practical
communications theory enable students to confidently interact
with a rapidly changing industry. Film, television and video students
create a variety of independent productions, as well as an annual
video yearbook. Radio students manage and produce programming
for KVCH,
the world’s first high school radio station to broadcast
live on the Internet. Journalism students publish the monthly
newspaper, The Warrior. Yearbook students produce the award-winning
Vanguard yearbook.
