No experience necessary. Boys and girls invited! Come join in the preparations for the 2013 Tournament of Roses Day Parade with the band and color guard. Tryouts will be held in the Conservatory Hall from 3:30 to 5 pm on Thursday, May 17 & 24.

VCHS Jazz Takes Two Top Awards at Reno Jazz Festival
Jazz Combo I and Jazz Ensemble made finals and took the first place awards in Division A. Freshman bassist Kanoa Mendenhall earned the festival's Outstanding Rhythm Section Award. Howard Dietz performed at the Festival Showcase Concert as an honored alto saxophonist in the Reno Jazz Festival All-Star Combo.

2002 Alumnus Produces Music for Prime Time TV
2002 Alumnus Brandon Walters co-wrote, performed and produced two songs that aired Tuesday, February 7 on two different shows: "NCIS" on CBS Channel 5, and "90210" on the CW Channel 12. Brandon collaborated with singer Anne Williamson, both graduates of Point Loma University. Their EP, "My Name is You," is available on ITunes.
