Valley Christian Junior High School was named Intel School of Distinction STAR Innovator - for their work in the area of math and technology. The junior high will receive $125,000 in cash and prizes.
VCHS is one of 22 bands selected from 475 applications. The VCHS band will combine with a top marching band and color guard from Beijing, China for the internationally-renowned Tournament of Roses parade.
