Two teams from the seventh grade Physical Science Honors class won first and second place in the state for their science projects in the eCybermission competition. Each student on the first place team was awarded a $1,000 savings bond, and each student on the second place team was awarded a $500 savings bond. Congratulations to these award winning students and their teacher, Miss Haggerty!

Howard Dietz performed at the Festival Showcase Concert as an honored alto saxophonist in the Reno Jazz Festival All-Star Combo.

The 2011 graduate, Tyler Walker, posted a .380 batting average, which ranks fourth in the league. The powerful leadoff batter also ranked second in runs scored (46), slugging percentage (.614) and home runs (nine).

Saint Francis, Mountain View - Sean Davis successfully defended his 800 meter title at the WCAL Championship Friday and added a 1600 meter title as well. His performance was a highlight for the Warriors that was not short of outstanding performances.
