As Associate Director of Music for the Conservatory, Jeff Wilson directs the music faculty, classes and activities at all three Valley Christian campuses.

He has over 19 years of music teaching experience, and joined Valley Christian in 2003. He teaches at the elementary, junior high and high schools, both instrumental music and percussion. He has directed the award-winning Valley Christian Marching Band and Color Guard who has earned sweepstakes and first place for the past several years in the Western Band Association AAA division.

Mr. Wilson was previously the band director at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California. He also taught music and percussion at Martin Murphy Middle School in Morgan Hill and in the Hayward Unified School District.

Mr. Wilson is active in band and music festivals throughout the country. He is an adjudicator for Drum Corp International (DCI), a coordinator for the Music in the Parks festivals, and the percussion ensemble instructor for the San Jose Youth Symphony.

He is also an accomplished freelance percussionist. He has performed with the San Jose Symphony and San Francisco Symphony, as well as other symphony orchestras throughout the greater Bay Area.
