International Space Station (ISS) Project

Posted November 11, 2010

Valley Christian High School students involved in the International Space Station (ISS) Project tell their story of how it all started, what they did, how they did it and their dreams for the future. These students are writing a new chapter in history by being the world’s FIRST high school students to have researched, designed, built, tested (they passed NASA’s tests!), and shipped their unit to be flown to the ISS. Their flight unit will ship at the end of November 2011 and then be flown to the ISS in January 2011. Their amazing plant growth experiment aboard the ISS will convene for 30-60 days and high resolution image and environmental data will be relayed back to earth to the students by one of the astronauts on board the ISS.
