2011 Graduate and Minnesota Golden Gopher Sophomore short stop Tyler Walker earned 1st Team All-Big 10 honors in softball. She was also chosen as the Big 10 player of the week last month as well.

Nick Backlund ('09) Leads Mercer into NCAA Baseball Regionals

2009 Graduate Nick Backlund was named to the 2nd Team All-Atlantic Sun Baseball Team. Nick and the Mercer Bears will face South Alabama on Friday in the Mississippi State Regional. The game can be seen on ESPN3.

Janell LaRont ('11) Earns A.I.I. Player of the Week Award at Dickinson State for Softball

VCHS Graduate Janell LaRont (’11) earned the A.I.I. Player of the Week Award for her great play during DSU's spring break trip in Arizona. This is the second time this year she has received the honor.
The week of March 11th-March 17th LaRont had a .517 batting average, 8 RBI, 4 stolen bases, and recorded 5 doubles and 2 triples.
