Annie earned the highest award at the CMEA 2017 Solo and Ensemble Festival in May.
In May, students got a feel for performing for strangers, or "busking" on their guitars on Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz.
Doors open at 6pm, the concert will begin at 7pm. Purchase tickets at the door - $10 adults, $7 students. Includes appetizers, drinks and desserts.

Conservatory Music Major and pianist Elliot Wuu has announced that he will attend The Juilliard School this fall with a full scholarship
At the Winter Guard International Championships in Dayton Ohio, the ensemble took first place in Scholastic A Division over 11 mid-west bands.

Subset of the Open Air Ensemble (marching band & color guard) competes and earns highest score overall at the Winter Guard International Regional
The One O'Clock Jazz Band includes VCHS Alum Howie Dietz on Saxophone. The VCHS Jazz Ensemble will also perform.
On their 2017 Spring Tour of the West Coast, the choir performed at junior high and high school chapels and provided workshops and musical exchange with the VCS choirs.

The team was named National Champions in the Medium Ensemble and Prop Divisions.

The NUMU Museum of Los Gatos chose three VCHS ceramics students' artwork for their 2017 contest from over 1,000 Bay Area submissions. The pieces are on display starting March 23.
Guitar students and Mr. Reggie Coates entertain students during lunch as part of the continuing lunch time performance series in the Student Life Center.
High School Ensemble auditions for advanced groups were due online by March 3. READ MORE if you are new to Valley Christian and did not submit an audition for an advanced group. Junior High Ensemble audition info will be posted here on April 3, with auditions due by May 5.
