Background
When Valley Christian was established, the family and
friends were a close-knit group of parents and supporters.
As a unified force, the group interacted and prayed for one
another. Valley was richly blessed by the Lord, and as it
grew, it became more difficult to maintain the closeness
and personal relationships. With such a large family, we
believe it is crucial to join forces and communicate needs
as well as blessings. This desire led VCS Administration
and some dedicated friends to meet in the spring of 2008
to share ideas and concerns aimed at bringing the Valley
family closer together. The VCS Service Fellowship was
the result of that meeting.
Activities
With the inaugural event in September of 2008, the VCS Service Fellowship connects the Valley family. It promotes a forum for different groups to learn from wonderful speakers and fellowship,
and provides the opportunity to get involved in events at any of the three campuses. The VCS Service Fellowship will meet during the school year.Members can share their ideas for specific interests with the VCS Service Fellowship Board. Some already-introduced ideas include a technology-focused parenting class, a group called Friends of the Library and a Christian book club.
