Your contribution to this fund will help the VCHS Marching
Band and Color Guard go to the Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1, 2013.
The band and color guard will be collaborating with one of the top marching
bands from Beijing, China to form one large international band to perform at
this world renowned event viewed by millions. The group’s theme is, East
West Fusion: From the Great Wall to the Golden Gate.
The group traveled to China in April 2012 to begin the
coordination process to participate in the 2013 Rose Parade. They will be
the light of Christ as they rehearse, spend time with the Chinese students, and
proudly march in the internationally broadcasted 2013 Tournament of Roses
Parade.
