Our History

Founded in 1960 with the mission to equip students to lead, serve, and impact their communities and the world, Valley Christian Schools (VCS) is a private, K-12 Christian school located in San Jose, California. VCS provides rigorous, college-preparatory programs while challenging students in their individual Quest for Excellence.

Our Students

  • 2,750 students (K-12th) 
    • 450 Elementary
    • 700 Junior High
    • 1,600 High School
  • 100% of high school graduates go on to pursue higher education, with former Warriors currently attending every Ivy League university.
  • Over 100 International students in junior high and high school from over 10 different countries.

Our Culture & Campus

Vibrant student life marked by school spirit and community. Over 100 clubs, programs, and after-school opportunities for students to discover their passion. Focus on spiritual life, with weekly chapel, staff devotions, and daily prayer.

Our standout facilities include a research lab, black box theatre, piano lab, two athletic stadiums, robotics and engineering lab, Human Performance Center, one-of-a-kind Observatory, Olympic-sized pool, and more.
