Deposit Fee

Deposits for the 2024-2025 school year are $500 for K-5th and $1,500 for 6th-12th grades.

The deposit fee is charged for each student every year and reserves a space for your child. The deposit fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The tuition charged by Valley Christian Schools may be paid in one of the following ways:

Prepaid in full by July 1, 2024 (Payable to Valley Christian Schools).
Payment on the 11-month plan, starting July 2024 and ending May 2025, using FACTS Tuition Management, subject to credit review at VCS’ option. Extra classes will be charged on a pro-rata basis.

FACTS Tuition Management

Monthly tuition payments must be set up with FACTS for Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) from your bank account on the 1^st or 15^th of each month. More information regarding your FACTS account can be found on the enrollment site beginning February 1, 2024. FACTS does not administer the non-refundable deposit fee of $500 for K-5^th grade and $1,500 for 6^th-12^th grades as these are paid online during enrollment. In order to reserve a space for your student, you must set up a FACTS account no later than July 1.

Please be aware that FACTS offers a “Peace of Mind” insurance policy for the price of $22.50 per year. A death in a student's family can disrupt his/her academic life due to the potential loss of educational funds. In the event of the death of the responsible party or his/her legal spouse, FACTS will pay the remaining balance up to $30,000 (except amounts that are delinquent). Also, the Peace of Mind insurance is only available to individuals who are under the age of 70 at the time the coverage begins. We believe that this insurance policy is valuable to many families during a family hardship. We highly recommend signing up for this benefit. No other tuition assistance will be available from the school above any amount previously granted during a hardship of this type.

Miscellaneous Fees and Charges

Separate fees are charged for athletics (afterschool sports), certain electives, iPad App fees, e-textbooks, parking, scheduled busing, and other miscellaneous school activities (such as field trips). Such fees are in addition to those set forth in the schedule above. These fees are charged as incurred. Please be advised that students at the Skyway Campus also must purchase digital books, workbooks, and possibly other items as required by the course being taken.

Financial Assistance

Note: Financial Assistance must be re-applied for each year.

The Financial Assistance application deadline will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024. The applications will be processed in the order received, so earlier submission of qualified applications will increase the likelihood of being awarded financial assistance, as available funds normally run out quickly. After-School Enrichment

Bus Service

We offer extensive bus service on selected routes in Santa Clara County at an additional charge. Busing sign-ups will be part of the online enrollment process available starting February 1, 2024 for returning students. New students may sign up for busing after they submit their enrollment deposit and complete the online enrollment process. The bus service fee is $600 each way per school year.

Free shuttle service runs continuously in the morning and afternoon from the Capitol Station (Fehren Dr. and Monterey Hwy) located approximately ¾ of a mile north of the Skyway campus on Monterey Hwy. Free morning shuttle service is provided from the Blossom Hill Station (Ford Rd. and Monterey Hwy) located approximately two miles south of the Skyway campus on Monterey Hwy. Times for the Blossom Hill Station shuttle service can be found on the busing brochure. We encourage families to take advantage of the shuttle as it serves to lessen the traffic on the Skyway campus and can easily save a parent an average of 20 minutes per day picking up or dropping off their child. Please note that security is provided at the Capitol Station continuously each school day from approximately 6:15am to 6:30pm.

Early Withdrawal

In the event of early withdrawal or dismissal from VCS after May 31, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year for any reason, tuition already paid will NOT be refunded and tuition is still payable for the entire semester. The school principal should be notified at least ten days in advance of the final date a student will attend school. All other non-tuition charges related to the student's enrollment must be paid up to the date of withdrawal.
