Conservatory Update

Valley Christian Schools Conservatory of the Arts is off to a great start this semester. Our students are adjusting well to expressing their creativity at a distance and we are still going to bring some wonderful performances to you virtually! This Fall, we have six performances scheduled for the whole family to enjoy!

  • The Kidservatory dance program offers "Master Classes with Miss Colette" for virtual dance workshops once a month.
  • Junior High Theatre is working on a virtual play, "Bad Auditions…On Camera," to premiere online on October 21 and 22.
  • Starting September 29th, the VIVID Dance Team began meeting together for in-person rehearsals. The dance department will also be creating and streaming Emerge: A Dance Film on December 4.
  • On Friday, October 2, the Music Arts Department will start filming their "Thanksgiving with the Fellows" concert - filmed at the Gunter Ranch in Morgan Hill - premiere on Thursday, November 19. Music from the concert will also be recorded and made available on top music streaming platforms.
  • The High School Theatre Arts Department auditioned and has begun the rehearsal process for Stephen Schwartz' Godspell. While vocal rehearsals are held remotely, dance and other rehearsals will soon be held in-person to prepare for a weekend of live-stream performances, November 13-15.
  • On October 23, the Encore Virtual Choir program and additional vocal students will be presenting a streamed choir concert.
