COVID CLOSE CONTACT SCENARIOS

VACCINATED STUDENT or EMPLOYEE (asymptomatic) | No Quarantine

A student or employee who has had close contact with a positive case and does not have any symptoms can resume all classes and extracurricular activities. If their test is negative on Day 5, the student continues to participate in classes and extracurricular activities.

UNVACCINATED STUDENT (asymptomatic)  |
Modified Quarantine - With Mask 

An unvaccinated student who had close contact with a positive case, while both were wearing a mask (COVID positive and exposed person), may remain on campus if the student tests immediately after exposure, but only for classes (no extracurricular activities). If a test is taken on or after Day 5 from the last exposure and is negative, the student may resume extracurricular activities on Day 8. 


UNVACCINATED STUDENT (asymptomatic) |
At-Home Quarantine - No Mask  

An unvaccinated student who had close contact with a positive case, while either person was not wearing a mask (COVID positive and exposed person), must go into at-home quarantine immediately. If a test is taken on or after Day 5 from the last exposure and is negative, the student may resume all activities on Day 8. If a test is not taken, the person must not attend campus for 10 days.

UNVACCINATED EMPLOYEE (asymptomatic) |
At-Home Quarantine

An unvaccinated employee who had close contact with a positive case must go into at-home quarantine immediately for 10 days.
