Kindergarten-3rd Grade

Nice solid-color white, yellow, or gold shirt or blouse on top, dressy black pants or black skirt on the bottom (not jeans or yoga pants), black shoes (not athletic type) and black socks, all in VC dress code.

4th-5th Grade

Nice white shirt or blouse on top, dressy black pants or black skirt on the bottom (not jeans or yoga pants), black shoes (not athletic type) and black socks, all in VC dress code.

Drop-off Information

In addition to the information in the FAQ, parents please be sure to remove your child’s coat, and other outerwear when you drop them off at the Stage Door entrance. Take those items with you into the Theatre. It is always very warm in the building. Your child will not need them until the end of the concert.
We will have VC Security outside the Stage Door to help with crowd control and safety concerns on the Elementary concert nights.

Pick-up Information

Dr. Guven will give directions at the end of the concerts as to where to locate your child. Please, only one parent per child into the pick-up zone!

Black-collared dress shirt—clean and pressed!
Black socks and black dress shoes (No sneakers!)
Suspenders are permitted but must be black

Young Ladies
Plain, black, floor-length dress, skirt, or dressy black slacks (no jeans or yoga pants)

Black or neutral hosiery and black dress shoes
Modest attire, within VC dress code

CHOIR

Required performance outfit purchased for 2025-26 school year. Students please verify with your director about your performance attire.

Check-in Procedure

Students are required to sign in when they arrive in the California Theatre. Lists of performers will be posted on the bulletin boards in the hallway after the students come through the Stage Door entrance, with a line for signatures next to their name.

Check-out Procedure

All students are expected to stay until the conclusion of the concert. After the concert, students will be dismissed to the lobby for parent/guardian pickup. No student pickup at the Stage Door entrance.

Performance Attire

The Valley Christian Conservatory of the Arts conforms to the traditional standard of wearing formal concert attire. We hope that all students will feel comfortable performing in attire that is in accordance with the "VCHS Dress Code" (pg. 65 of the Student Handbook). 
Students enrolled in a 2025 VCHS performance ensemble will wear the performance attire of their respective ensembles.

Black suit or tuxedo
