The Quest Ball is our annual VCS community celebration and fundraiser benefiting our Warrior Fund and Tuition Assistance (Youth With Promise)

• All net proceeds support the VCS Warrior Fund, and specifically our financial aid program. 
• Last year, the Quest Ball raised over $515,000!
• The Quest Ball is attended by current and former VCS parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, community friends, and their guests.  It is an all-school (adults) community-building event. 
• The event includes dinner, wine, a Live and Silent Auction, live band, programs to showcase our incredible students, and much more!
• The Quest Ball is hosted by the VCS Extend the Gift Staff and Volunteer Team in collaboration with the entire VCS community.
• Each year, all guests are asked to “Stand Up for Valley’s Kids” together with a specific donation to our Tuition Assistance program. 
• This year’s event is on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the picturesque Kirigin Cellars, near Morgan Hill.
   

The silent auction opens on Wednesday, April 20th  at 10:00am. We encourage you to look through items and start bidding before Saturday. You can even add your maximum bid to ensure you don’t miss out on an item. Some items will be on display at the event, but this year’s silent auction is all on- line, so be sure to look at items ahead of time! The silent auction closes at 8:30pm on Saturday, April 23. All proceeds benefit the Warrior Fund. (Live Auction Items and Parking spots at VCHS will ONLY be available in person at the event and are not available in the silent auction)

Dress for the event is “Dressy Casual.” Get dressed up for a classy evening at a beautiful vineyard while being sure to dress comfortably for an outdoor event.  Wear shoes comfortable for walking on grass, bring warm layers to be comfortable outside from 4pm - 9:30pm, and expect both sunny and chilly weather throughout the night. Heaters will be present, but we will be outdoors throughout the evening, and we encourage you to dress comfortably.

Transportation

The event entrance is at 3255 Day Road, Gilroy, CA 95020. Use this address for navigation, not the main address for Kirigin Cellars. Follow the signs to Day Road. Parking is free and will be in both the event parking lot and the adjacent field. Event staff will direct you to your spot.

We encourage you to carpool and plan ahead for a great, safe evening. Kirigin will allow cars to be left overnight in their parking lot at no charge. If you plan to use Uber, schedule your ride home right now to avoid long wait times to this rural area. The event will end at 9:30 pm. Direct all pick ups to 3255 Day Road, Gilroy, CA 95020.

The event begins at 4pm. Kirigin Cellars is located approximately 30 minutes south of VCS and 10 minutes from the 101- Tennant Rd exit in Morgan Hill. The Parking and Event entrance is on Day Road, be sure to follow the signs and use the Day Road entrance for parking or drop off, not the Watsonville Road entrance. Kirigin Cellars staff will be there to direct you.  

• This year’s Quest Ball, an Evening Under the Stars, will kick off at 4pm with wine, community, and unique VCS experiences. Enjoy the beautiful vineyard, great wine, and experience the incredible talent of our VCS students as the sun sets. We will enjoy great food, great company, dinner, and a live auction. 
• Silent Auction - Bidding on Silent Auction is on the VCS OneCause website. There is a huge variety of items and price points - something for everyone, so be sure to take time to review the catalog. Some items will be featured at the live event, most will be primarily featured on-line. 
• Live Auction - Our live auction includes our most exciting and exclusive auction items.  We also have fun games- you can purchase Auction Game entries ahead of the event on our VCS OneCause website. 
• After our dinner and auction, you can mix and mingle or dance the night away to The Cheeseballs Band!
   

Our tables are generally organized by VCS affiliation as selected in your ticket purchase. Our volunteer team helps organize these table groups. If you have a table request, be sure to buy your tickets early and fill in the seating request field when purchasing your ticket; we do our best to accommodate all requests. You can also purchase a full table at a variety of levels. Each table seats 10 guests.

• A very special part of every Quest Ball is the opportunity to “Stand Up for Valley’s Kids” with a direct donation to our Tuition Assistance program. 
• This opportunity welcomes participants to raise their paddles at various levels, ranging from $100 to over the full cost of tuition for a student - 100% raised goes directly to benefit the Tuition Assistance program.
• Guests are also able to give anonymously, if preferred, through pledge cards.

• The cost to attend is $200 per ticket, and includes all you need for a fun evening at a beautiful winery, including dinner, parking, all beverages (including wine and beer), live entertainment, and a wonderful time with our VCS community. In addition to individual tickets, you can purchase couples packages and full tables.
