Something that might surprise people who think of me as an athlete is that I am very passionate about theology and philosophy. It was out of this passion that I founded the Theology, Apologetics, and Scholars Club this last year.

I am also on the leadership team for both the Ignite Christian Club and my church youth group and will be involved with both Biblical Leadership and ASB this next school year.

The thing that really drives me, and makes me want to get out of bed in the morning, is my love for God and my desire to serve and honor Him and to love and serve others. 

During my time as a Valley Christian athlete, I have learned that in sports, in life, and especially in our faith journeys, we can’t go through things alone – we have to work with others to achieve our goals. I have really learned the importance of teamwork. 

The most rewarding part about being a Warrior athlete is being a part of a community that is passionate about working hard and honoring God through what we do. Sports is not only an outlet for my energy but is also a great way to make friends and build relationships with people.
