Gautam

The most rewarding aspect of my time in BEI (Business, Entrepreneurship, & Innovation) has been the opportunity to give back to our local communities.

My friend Karthik Adimulam and I started a club at our school to teach our peers how to be fiscally responsible. We then decided to extend our reach to local elementary and middle schools in our community, educating students on basic financial literacy topics to instill a better mindset when it comes to the topic of money for children. We hope to foster a community of self-reliant and independent individuals.

My journey with BEI started after my first DECA conference in my freshman year. I wanted to make an impact on the world, and through DECA I found my passion: business.

I have two primary business goals: one is to scale an organization I started in BEI called Financing the Future. The other is to become an executive of a company that provides value to society while also turning a profit. I want to have the ability to make an impact on people’s lives, and to make our world a better, safer place.

He is seen as a natural leader, always engaging and dialoguing with teachers and classmates, and bringing in humor along with that.
