Ruby
I would like to become a businesswoman someday, and I think entrepreneurship is a big step towards that.
At the elementary school, I participated in the Lemonade Day entrepreneurship program, and I’m also involved in Theater and the “A Stitch of Mine” giving program. I love business and marketing, performing and singing, and sewing, so I really enjoy all of these activities equally!
BEI has taught me that an entrepreneur is someone who starts a new business venture, manages, and assumes the many risks that surface while running a business. But more than that, an entrepreneur has an eye for opportunities and a drive to make things happen.
When I’m not exploring new places or new opportunities, I enjoy dancing, singing, Chinese class, Spanish class, writing class, piano, and drawing. I would describe myself as creative and weird, but I always try to remember to think about others more than myself.

Ruby has an entrepreneurial spirit. She has a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic. She demonstrates leadership skills with her peers, and is a mentor to younger students. She was an outstanding participant in the Lemonade Day program.
