We are excited to announce our 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony plans at Skyway Campus. Save the date for Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 5pm, as we celebrate your student’s accomplishments and send them to high school with our blessings. A livestream option will be provided to families who do not prefer to attend in person.

TUESDAY, MAY 28, 2024 | 2:30-6:30pm
COYOTE RANCH, COYOTE, CA
What: BBQ dinner, line dancing, Just Dance 4, large inflatables, unlimited beverages, caricature drawings, and more!
Where: Coyote Ranch, Coyote, CA
(7 miles south of VCJH campus)
When: Tuesday, May 28, from 2:30-6:30pm
Cost: $0
All grade 8 students are invited to be our guests at this annual graduation event. We will bus the entire class to the Ranch at 2:30pm. Students will be brought back to campus for you to pick up at 6:30pm.
All participants must ride to and from the event on the bus. We cannot have anyone dropped off or picked up from the venue. We are sorry, but no exceptions can be made.
JH GRADUATION PRACTICE

VCS FOOTBALL FIELD
Graduation participants will be required to attend a MANDATORY graduation practice from 8:30-11:45am. Students need to report directly to the football field by 8:30am and can be picked up after the rehearsal at 11:45am.
All students must be picked up from campus no later than 12:30pm, and there will be NO LUNCH SERVICE available.

GRADUATION DRESS CODE
The student dress code for the Graduation Ceremony is as follows:
- Boys: Dress shirt, slacks, shoes, and tie. No shorts
- Girls: Dressy dress or slacks and dress shoes
- Please remember that these students still represent Valley Christian Junior High School and need to dress modestly and appropriately to stay within the VCJH dress code. Every student will wear a navy graduation robe during the ceremony.
GRADUATION DAY PHOTOS
Generations Photography will be on campus during Graduation, taking photos of the graduates during the ceremony. After the event, information will be emailed with instructions about accessing, viewing, and purchasing photos.
GRADUATION DAY PARKING
Parking on campus is limited, so please allow yourself plenty of time. There are limited handicapped parking places in the visitor parking area, White Lot, on campus. If the person who needs additional assistance is a passenger, please drop them off at the stadium and park in a regular space. We will also offer off-campus parking at the Capitol Caltrain Station located on Monterey and Fehren, with shuttle buses running from 3:45-7:15pm.

GRADUATION DAY SCHEDULE
The Graduation Ceremony will be held in our football stadium on Wednesday, May 29, at 5pm and the ceremony will last about one hour. The stadium does not have a roof, so come prepared to sit in the beautiful sunshine. Bring a hat or scarf, water, and a seat cushion for the bleachers. We do not recommend umbrellas because they will block the view of those sitting behind you. The stadium will be open for seating at 4:15pm, and all graduates need to be on the soccer field by this time.
