When I saw that Valley Christian had a robotics team, I immediately knew I wanted to join. The robotics team has basically become a second family to me.
We talk about everything, from inside jokes that no one else could possibly understand, to our hopes and dreams for our futures. I love the team and I love being able to work on my passion in a place where people are just as interested in it as I am. In addition to Robotics, I’m also part of the XPRIZE program. Ultimately, I want to study medicine and become a surgeon.
Probably my favorite AMSE moment was playing soccer on the lawn with my robotics teammates. It was so much fun to just let loose and enjoy the time together. Our coach even joined us!
I have learned that Valley Christian Schools is like a family. Every student takes care of each other, and we support each other no matter what. We no longer have to do things on our own here, because we have a whole family of peers willing and wanting to help each other through anything.
Every day, Rhea works hard; she is a natural leader. She truly has a passion for robotics, and I can’t wait to see the great things she will do in the future. Rhea’s intelligence and determination are her defining qualities.
