For Stephanie, the journey to VCS began with an unexpected request from her son, Michael (’25). After years in public school and months of pandemic-related online learning, Michael returned to campus only briefly before realizing he wanted something different.

Today, Amy Junus-Ho (’15) serves as a cardiology nurse practitioner in Maryland, building a life with her husband after years of schooling and cross-country moves. Still, when she thinks back on her years at VCS, she returns to a starting place that felt shaky, and then became steady.
