NPR's From the Top with host Christopher O'Riley will air this show in March.
A performance at the San Francisco Chinese New Year Opening Ceremonies on Feb. 14 and creation of a video application for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade are scheduled for the combined Beijing/VCS marching band/Open Air Ensemble. The Junior High Quest Band will also participate.
The Theatre II and Tech Theatre II Honors classes will screen last year's production of "The Drowsy Chaperone" on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7pm in the Main Theatre. Tickets are $4 per person, at the door.

Special guest artist Nadia Shpachenko-Gottesman, pianist and percussionist, performs in recital and provides a masterclass for the high school piano classes on Friday, January 23. Two performances - 10:55am and 1:05pm in the Conservatory chapel.

The Nigel Lythgoe Dizzy Feet Foundation performance was choreographed by Emmy-award winning choreographer Mandy Moore at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.
On October 24, Elliot performed in New York at the United Nations 69th Anniversary Concert with Internationally-renowned concert pianist Lang Lang & Friends. He was also interviewed on SiriusXM radio, and performed at other venues in New York.
Eight Conservatory Theatre Majors and Minors will perform their Senior Showcase on Saturday, Dec. 6, 7pm, in the main theatre. Free Admission.
On November 21, at the College of San Mateo, the Jazz Ensemble scored highly and five students received Outstanding Soloist awards.
In the Western Band Association California State Championships held at Fresno State on Nov. 22-23, the VCHS Open Air Ensemble competed against bands from both Northern and Southern California.
In the Western Bands Association (WBA) competition at Independence HS, VCHS took the first place trophy in Class AAA, and earned awards for Best Visual Effect, Best Music, and Best Percussion. The next competition is this Saturday, Nov. 15 at James Logan HS,Union City. Don't miss the on-campus Preview of Champions on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 8pm in the Skyway stadium.

Both Junior High and High School choral groups will perform at the spectacular Santa Clara Mission Church on Tuesday, October 28 at 7pm. Admission is free, but parking on campus is $5. Please arrive early for parking.

The two day ACSI Honor Band Festival was held on October 16-17 at Ripon Christian School in Ripon, California. Ten Valley Christian high school musicians were chosen to participate: Serena Ang, Jonathan Chon, Clara Gunter, Maxwell Lin-He, Brian Liu, Elyssa Rhea, Shane Ryan, YiLei Henry Wang, and Wilson Wu. Congratulations!
Saturday, October 25 is the date for the Quest Classic, to be held at Chabot College. 17 bands from around the Bay Area are participating in this Western Band Association field show. Valley Christian's Open Air Ensemble will perform in exhibition at 6:36pm, and the Band Boosters and alumni are running the show.
It's the age-old tale of Boy-Meets-Girl and the complications which ensue intrigue every audience. No musical puts it on stage better than "Anything Goes." This show is an amusing story wrapped around one of Cole Porter's magical scores, featuring familiar tunes: It's De-Lovely, Friendship, I Get A Kick Out Of You, All Through The Night, Anything Goes, You're The Top and Blow, Gabriel, Blow.

Christian artist Moriah Peters and her band performed a rousing and inspirational concert and testimony at the 2014-15 Conservatory Kick-off on Monday, August 11. She continued on to Nashville after her performance.
