On September 30th, the JH Softball team hosted over 70 young softball players, ages 5-14, on our brand new softball field for an afternoon clinic. The visiting players enjoyed two hours of hitting, fielding and base running drills under the direction of Coach Steve Wilson, Coach Kirk Zobac, Coach Chanae Jones and the entire JH Softball team. There were also several VC High School players that volunteered their expertise. The event also included former Stanford pitching coach Letty Olivarez. Thisclinic allowed the entire team the privilege of serving those in the community and share the blessing of their ability and the VC facility with others. It was a great day for all and an incredible opportunity for the VC Softball program to unite for a great event offered to the community.
