Today, seven Warriors across six sports made commitments to further their careers as student-athletes by signing their National Letters of Intent (NLI). The smiling faces across the table have been placed there as a byproduct of years of hard work, support from their families, and dedication to the honing of their God-given skills, talents, and abilities. But the day only marks a highlighted checkpoint in their athletic careers. Brianna and the rest of the volleyball team will soon advance to the CIF NorCal playoffs. On Monday, just two days before signing, Quynn won the CIF NorCal Individual Championship, leading her team to a NorCal Team Championship first place finish as well. Quynn and the rest of her team travel to Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach next Tuesday to compete in the CIF State Championships. Elizabeth will soon begin her senior season, while Lauren will have to wait until spring to start hers. Dawson and Patrick will return to the 2017 CCS Open Div. Championship-winning baseball team for one more campaign. Among these journeys, we are also excited to celebrate the accomplishments of Julia, as she is the first fencer to be honored at a VC Signing Day ceremony. Each story as exciting as the next, we look with anticipation at the bright futures ahead of these seven Warriors!
