Main Purpose of the Position:  

Primary telephone contact for incoming calls. Receives calls, voicemail messages and distributes to the appropriate person for response. Primary greeter to students, parents and visitors to the school at the reception desk.

General qualifications for all VCS instructor positions include: 

  • Degree (B.A./B.S.) in field of instruction is required
  • Master's degree in field of instruction is preferred
  • 1-3 years of successful teaching experience is preferred

  • Experience with Moodle, PowerSchool, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Pages, Keynote, iBooks, iBook Author, iMovie, Nearpod, Educreations, Notability, Dropbox, Glo Bible, and Kno Textbooks
  • Model Teacher
  • Holds or is in the process of earning an Association of Christian Schools International Teacher Credential or a California Teaching Credential
  • A teaching sample (either a video or in person) may be requested.

Main Purpose of the Position:  

The Director of Admissions shall be responsible for coordinating admissions procedures at all three of Valley Christian Schools campuses. Director shall do this by creating admissions procedures and documentation, being a part of the interview and admittance decisions, overseeing Open Houses and other admissions-related events, shadowing, tours, and outreach programs. Director shall ensure a focus on bringing into VCS students committed to academic achievement, artistic beauty, and athletic distinction all within a Christian worldview.
