Girls Golf – Monday 11/7

After taking 3rd place in the CCS Championships last Tuesday, our WCAL champion girls golf team travels to Salinas (Crazy Horse Ranch) for the 2016 CIF NorCal Regional Golf Championships. Golfers Quynn Duong, Linette Jun, Nicole Vivier, Stephanie Han, Davida Simpson, and Allison Nguyen will represent the Warriors as they compete against 11 other top schools from across Northern California.


Girls Tennis – Tuesday 11/8

The girls CCS Tennis team playoffs begin this Tuesday for the Warriors, as they play at Live Oak High School at 2:00 PM against the winner of Santa Catalina vs. Piedmont Hills.  Should the Warriors win, they will advance to the quarterfinals on Thursday, site, time, and opponent TBD. 

The CCS Tennis individual playoffs will kick off next week, with VC sophomore Zlata Uzdenova ('19) competing against Minvi Bui (Santa Teresa High School) on Tuesday 11/15 at Bay Club Courtside at 12:00 PM.


Boys Water Polo – Tuesday 11/8

After beating Santa Cruz High School in the CCS DII quarterfinals, our boys water polo team will be competing against Menlo High School in the semifinals at Menlo-Atherton High School at 5:30 PM.  The winner of this game will play in the championship at Independence High School on Saturday 11/12, time TBA. 


Girls Volleyball – Wednesday 11/9

Our defending state and CCS Division III champion girls volleyball team continues their successful CCS DII playoff campaign against Lynbrook High School at St. Francis High School at 7:00 PM.   The winner of this matchup will play in the championship game on Saturday 11/12 at Independence High School, time TBA. 


Football – Friday 11/3

Our WCAL champion football team has advanced to the CCS Open Division III playoffs and will host Burlingame High School in the first round at Valley Christian at 7:00 PM.  The winner of this quarterfinal matchup will face the winner of Aptos High School vs. Aragon High School, date, time, and location TBD. 


Cross Country – Saturday 11/12

The Valley Christian girls cross country team finished 4th place in the WCAL Championship and advance to the CCS Championship for the twelfth consecutive year.  Sam Cuevas (’17), Cameron Lockard (’17) and Joe Reanti (’18) also advance as individuals for the boys. Boys DII race is at 1:30 PM, girls at 2:05 PM at Crystal Springs in Belmont, CA.
