2019 Football | Welcome Letter
Posted 07/22/2019 12:36PM

Dear Valley Christian Football Families,

We are excited to welcome you to another year of football at Valley Christian High School!  It is our tradition to post this letter for all families of players interested in being a part of the football program for the 2019 season.  It is our privilege to work with each of your student-athletes and to continue to build on the God-honoring traditions this program is founded upon.

Please read this packet carefully as it contains important information and dates for the upcoming season.  If you have any questions after reading the letter in its entirety, please call the VCHS Athletic Office at (408) 513-2455.

Spirit Packs

All Valley Christian football players will be responsible for buying a “spirit pack”. The JV and freshman spirit pack will consist of team shorts, team T-shirt, game socks and a practice jersey for $60.00. These items are for the athletes to keep.

The spirit pack for Varsity athletes will be significantly different, as the Varsity players will also be buying their NEW 2019 pro-style Home game jerseys. The cost for the Varsity spirit pack will be $145.00. The game jersey for the Varsity players should be a one-time purchase unless the student-athlete wants to buy a new jersey each season.

This year, football players will be billed for their spirit packs via “Your VCS Account.”  In the coming days, keep an eye out for an email from payfees@vcs.net.  For more information regarding the online payment of fees at VCS, please CLICK HERE.

Athletes will not receive their practice jerseys (and therefore cannot practice) until the spirit pack fees have been paid.

A complete Physical Examination Form must be submitted to the Athletic Office in order for any athlete to participate in any sport at Valley Christian High School.  Sports physicals are kept on file for one (1) calendar year and must be valid through the entire season of sport (i.e. we do not accept physicals that expire mid-season).  Players will not be able to participate in practice until a completed physical form has been turned in.  All forms can be found online by visiting www.GoWarriors.net, click on “Resources”, then “Forms”.
