The Quest Ball is our annual VCS community celebration and fundraiser benefiting our Warrior Fund and Tuition Assistance (Youth With Promise)

• All net proceeds support the VCS Warrior Fund, and specifically our financial aid program. 
• Last year, the Quest Ball raised over $515,000!
• The Quest Ball is attended by current and former VCS parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, community friends, and their guests.  It is an all-school (adults only) community-building event. 
• The event includes dinner, wine, a Live and Silent Auction, live band, programs to showcase our incredible students, and much more!
• The Quest Ball is hosted by the VCS Extend the Gift Staff and Volunteer Team in collaboration with the entire VCS community.
• Each year, all guests are asked to “Stand Up for Valley’s Kids” together with a specific donation to our Youth With Promise program. 
• This year’s event is on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the picturesque Kirigin Cellars, near Morgan Hill.

The Quest Ball is a 21+ event. 

• You can purchase individual or couples tickets, or sponsor an entire table. Tickets are available on our VCS OneCause website. 
• Tickets are available March 1- April 1. Ticket sales will end on April 1, secure your tickets early!
• The cost to attend is $200 per ticket and includes all you need for a fun evening at a beautiful winery, including dinner, parking, all beverages (including wine and beer), live entertainment, and a wonderful time with our VCS community. In addition to individual tickets, you can purchase couples packages and full tables. 

• This year’s Quest Ball, Shine Bright: Reflections of Light, will kick off at 4pm with wine, community, and unique VCS experiences. Enjoy the beautiful vineyard, great wine, and experience the incredible talent of our VCS students as the sun sets. We will enjoy great food, great company, dinner, and a live auction. 
• Silent Auction - Bidding on Silent Auction is on the VCS OneCause website. There is a huge variety of items and price points - something for everyone, so be sure to take time to review the catalog. Some items will be featured at the live event, most will be primarily featured on-line. 
• Live Auction - Our live auction includes our most exciting and exclusive auction items.  We also have fun games- you can purchase Auction Game entries ahead of the event on our VCS OneCause website.

The 2024 Quest Ball will be at a beautiful winery near Morgan Hill. Dress for the event is Dressy Casual. This is an outdoor event- please dress comfortably for the weather, bring layers to enjoy the lovely vineyard before and after sunset, and wear comfortable shoes suitable for various surfaces such as pavement or grass. Feel free to dress according to this year’s theme: “Shine Bright”!

• Volunteer your time before the event (solicitations and more)
• Donate experiences and items - vacation homes, event tickets, gift certificates, wine, and goods

• Give to “Stand Up for Valley’s Kids” with a 100% tax-deductible donation and directly support our Youth With Promise tuition assistance.
• Bid on Silent Auction items. You do not need to be present to bid for many of our auction items; simply register on the VCS OneCause website, and use your smartphone to donate or bid on Silent Auction items. The Silent Auction will open to our entire community the week of the event.

• Sponsors will be recognized during the event and in the Quest Ball Program. 
• Various giving levels include tickets, tables, recognition on the OneCause auction site and vcs.net website, advertising in our Quest Ball programs, and social media highlights.
• All sponsoring business will have their names and logos featured in our Quest Ball program and on our website at appropriate levels. 
• Sponsorship donations are tax-deductible over the amount of the cost of advertising, food, wine, etc…

• A very special part of every Quest Ball is the opportunity to “Stand Up for Valley’s Kids” with a direct donation to our Youth With Promise Tuition Assistance program. 
• This opportunity welcomes participants to raise their paddles at various levels, ranging from $100 to over the full cost of tuition for a student - 100% raised goes directly to benefit the Youth With Promise tuition assistance program.
• Guests are also able to give anonymously, if preferred, through pledge cards. 
• You can also give to “Stand Up For Valley’s Kids” in the Silent Auction on the VCS OneCause site or by contacting Christi Stockhaus cstockhaus@vcs.net or Mark DeLuca mdeluca@vcs.net. 
• We invite our entire community to join together for this effort in attempting to reach our goal of $300,000, and hope that all guests at the Quest Ball will sincerely consider how they can be part of supporting our Youth With Promise program with a donation when they attend this event.
• All Stand Up donations are 100% tax-deductible.
• All Stand Up donations can be corporate matched.
• All Stand Up donations will be recognized in the Annual Report, unless you prefer to be anonymous.
   

Proceeds raised from the VCS Quest Ball directly support the VCS WARRIOR FUND and our Youth With Promise Tuition Assistance Program. 

Our tables are generally organized by VCS affiliation as selected in your ticket purchase. Our volunteer team helps organize these table groups. If you have a table request, be sure to buy your tickets early and fill in the seating request field when purchasing your ticket; we do our best to accommodate all requests. You can also purchase a full table at a variety of levels. Each table seats 10 guests.
