High School Faith
Spiritual Formation
We are committed to helping our students put their faith into action through meaningful service experiences.
Students can explore their faith journey on campus and in the community. As a Christian school with a clear missional focus to reach the world with the good news of Jesus, we will encourage our students to grow in their relationship with God and be willing to give Jesus a fair hearing. We desire that every Valley Christian student be formed into the likeness of Jesus, allowing us to reflect His love and good news to others as we lead, serve, and impact our world.
Our dedication to service continues throughout high school, fostering a lifelong commitment to joyful and compassionate service to others, just as Christ and the early church modeled.
Our Way of the Warrior commitment includes the following:
- Twenty-five hours of required community service
- Partnerships with pre-approved local nonprofits and local churches
- Yearly summer Service Week with up to twelve service options
- Freshman Family Night that cultivates relationships with new families
- Regular on-campus opportunities
- Junior and senior leadership classes
- Weekly worship and educational experiences
- Teachings on biblical unity and character formation
- Service trips (IMPACT)
- Spiritual Discipleship Track
- K-12 Biblical Unity and K-12 Wellness
